Happy Birthday to Ian... week long celebration

Ian had a super Birthday week and turning 3 has been an amazing milestone for the entire family! I am amazed that I actually have a "big boy" now as he has become such a super little man. He is this independent little guy that never stops making Marco and I laugh--this is such an amazing age for our family. He is in the age of imagination, hundreds of whys, challenges, reading, puzzles and lots of huggs and kisses for Mommy and baby Luke (not baby brother).

We have had so much fun enjoying the week of birthday fun--a little celebration with Marco and myself, webcast with Oma, cupcakes at school, cake with Nano and Papa and the grand finale of his birthday Party with his friends. It's been fabulous!

Wearing Me Out

I have discovered an entirely new trait that must have come along with turning three! Ian has an amazing ability to recite anything that he hears. Not Good!!

Tonight Marco and I were talking in the family room and Ian was trying to get his attention from the playroom. After calling for daddy a couple of times--Ian busts out with "Marco! You are wearing me out!!"

I almost peed my pants I laughed so hard. Gotta work on my filter now that we have a mocking bird in the house!
