From the Mouth of Babes

Three is such a funny age (frustrating to tears--but funny all the time). Ian has come up with some great ones lately that are too funny to forget!

-The other day we took Nano on a lunch date for some fish and chips -- definitely a pregnant craving I couldn't resist. Ian has been into money lately and having coins in his pocket. He wanted to take his money, aka a penny, into the restaurant to pay for his food. When the waitress was taking our order he gave it to her for his lunch and she asked didn't want to keep his money. Without a missing a beat and with a half grin on his face he looked her in the eye and said, "It's OK--I have more in the car". What a player!!

-Everyone knows that I am two days away from the birth of our second baby and it's consuming most of the conversation in our house right now. Ian has decided that he can do magic and I asked him if he could get Luke out of my tummy with his magic. He turned around and waved his magic wand, aka a stick, and did the most adorable spell on me. He said "Abrica Cabadrica, Abrica Cabadrica, Abrica Cabadrica, Luke come out where ever you are" I almost peed my very pregnant pants!!!

-Ian also has a fascination with super heroes lately and of course shooting everything. I guess it's a right of passage for little boys. He has created his own super hero look with his swimming goggles and his unique talent is turning bad guys into good guys! He runs around with swimming goggles with dark blue lenses and green frames making shooting sounds all the time! We even have our first imaginary friend--a good guy--that Mommy almost stepped on in the floor! It's the best.
